Meet Dr. David Chu

David Zhong Jian Chu is a cancer surgeon and researcher who has been in practice for over 40 years.

He grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil as a Chinese immigrant from the age of five. His interest in science began in a cozy corner of Santo Amaro’s neighborhood library with a marvelous collection of books, from adventures in Greek mythology to world of atoms and biology. At age 15, he moved to Los Angeles, studying Physics and eventually gaining his Bachelor’s of Science at UCLA.

The cancer problem, both in clinics and research laboratories, became his main interest through learning, working and teaching at centers such as the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, and City of Hope National Cancer Institute.

Dr. Chu is currently practicing Surgical Oncology in San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles, California. You can read his latest book, PREVENT CANCER AND FIX WHAT AGING AILS YOU, and his blogs for detailed information on solving cancer and living a healthy life.
